Did you know that:
- Confined placental mosaicism (CPM) can prenatally be detected with chorionic villus sampling (CVS) and noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT).
- CPM can be associated with IUGR, IUVD and adverse pregnancy outcome in high risk pregnancy.
What our study show:
- NIPT as compared to CVS is more sensitive for detection of CPM that may be restricted to a (small) part of the placenta. This may result in a normal CVS results after abnormal NIPT.
